Friday Letter: The Person of the Holy Spirit
Greetings of Grace and Peace in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have become sons and daughters of the Most High God.
God never intended for any of us to do life alone. That’s why He sent the Person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is called our Comforter in the Scriptures which refers to a helper, someone called alongside to help, someone called to someone’s aid.
All the help you need is available in the Person of the Holy Spirit because He is God available to us 24/7. If you will painstakingly study the Scripture concerning the Holy Spirit. You will find out that He is all that you need.
For instance, “According as His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness.” (2 Peter 1:3). What does this mean? It simply means the Power of the Holy Spirit within me furnishes me with everything I require to live a godly life. Think about. The Holy Ghost in you will empower you to live above. Everything you require for life is present in Him. Hallelujah!!!
If you consider Paul’s words to Timothy saying, “For God has not given to us the spirit of fear but of Power, and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7). Recognizing the Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit will deliver you from fear. As you yield to Him in fellowship and intimate relationship, He will flood your heart with the Love of God.
The Holy Ghost will make you more loving. See Romans 5:5. This same Holy Spirit will augment your capacity for spiritual and mental apprehension. He is the Spirit of wisdom, understanding and knowledge. See Genesis 41:38-39; Isaiah 11:2-3; Ephesians 1:17. The Holy Spirit is your answer. If you will learn to partner with Him, recognizing Him and fellowshipping with Him, He will upgrade your life. Thank God for the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!!!
Until tomorrow, May God bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift His countenance upon you and give you His peace. Shalom
