Act Out Your Faith.

Act Out Your Faith.

“But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2:18 (NKJV)

Faith is the visible expression of confidence in God and His Word. This means that when someone has faith, they are demonstrating confidence.

When you are acting in faith as a Christian, people can see it because faith is visible. The results of your faith will be visible to all. Wherever there is faith, there will be visible results to show for it that is why James said in our opening scripture, “… Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”

In James 2:20, the Bible says, “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” That means passive faith is useless. Active faith is potent. If you have faith there will be actions to show it.

The Bible says in Matthew 9:2, “And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.”

Jesus could see their faith in their actions because faith is visible. Is your faith visible to all in your actions? If it is not, it means you are not living by faith because if you claim to be living by faith it will be seen.

Please read Ephesians 1:17-18, Revelation 3:18 and Genesis 21:19 and ask God to open your eyes to see the Blessings and opportunities around you.
