Apostle’s Thursday Letter

Dearly Beloved,

Grace Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received the mandate to communicate the message of a Loving God to a broken world.

These are very sensitive times because this is the beginning of the year 2019. How a year begins is what determines how a year goes and eventually how it ends. This is one of the major reasons why we fast in January, 2019.

Today we will be focusing on Favor. What is favor? Favor means the following:
friendly regard shown toward another especially by a superior. See Romans 5:2 AMP
Gracious kindness. See John 1:16 AMP
Special privilege. See Luke 1:28
Strategic or unfair advantage. See Acts 7:9-10.
Partiality. See Deuteronomy 7:7-9.

Favor is a destiny decider. Favor is a destiny facilitator. Favor gives speed. Favor accelerates destiny. Wherever favor is at work, you enjoy an unfair advantage, that means you have a divinely given strategic advantage. Favor is a difference maker. It can mean the difference between success and failure, poverty and prosperity etc.

Genesis 12:2 AMP
And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].

All those who experienced major success and made transgenerational impact were people who were favored by God. Consider Abraham. See Genesis 12:2 AMP, Joseph (See Genesis 39:2-4,21-23; Acts 7:9-10), David (See 1 Samuel 16:22) and Jesus Christ (Luke 2:40,52). Even Church growth is an issue of favor. See Acts 2:47.

Luke 2:52 KJV
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

Favor is in levels. You can experience increase in favor. The measure of favor on your life is what determines the quality of your life and the measure of your success. The question then is how do I increase the favor on my life?
Through knowledge. See 2 Peter 1:2, 3:18 AMP
Through humility. See James 4:6; Philippians 2:5-11
Through giving. See 2 Corinthians 9:8 AMP; Acts 20:35; Philippians 1:5-7
Through Prayers. See Hebrews 4:16 AMP
Through Praise. See Acts 2:47; Psalm 67:5-7

Please imbibe the principles above and practice them and you can be sure that you will experience phenomenal increase in Favor. I will be expecting you in today’s meetings: 6:00am and at 5:30pm. The quality of your preparation is what determines the quality of your future. Selah

Have a fruitful and fulfilling day characterized by encounters with favor and opportunities of increase.
