April Letter 11: Christianity Explained

Dearly Beloved,

Love Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by whom we have received the mandate to embrace, embody and exemplify the Vision, the Virtues and the Values of Jesus and the Apostles in our day.

Authentic Christianity is Christ reproduced in a man doing what He did 2,000 years ago. Others say, “Christianity is divinity at work in humanity.” Paul reveals that Christianity is God at work in a man giving Him the willingness to do what God wants and the ability to carry it out. See Philippians 1:6; 2:13; Galatians 4:19; Ephesians 4:13,15; Romans 8:29; Galatians 2:20

Galatians 4:19 NLT

Oh, my dear children! I feel as if I’m going through labor pains for you again, and they will continue until Christ is fully developed in your lives.

Romans 8:29 NLT

For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Any Christianity less than what we see in the life of Jesus and the Apostles is substandard Christianity. The essence of the redemption is to see that Christ is formed, that is, reproduced in every believer. God wants sons who are like Jesus. This is evident in Paul’s writings and even in Apostle John’s writing.

1 John 2:4-6 NLT

If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.

Until we understand what Christianity really is, we will live lives that do not reflect the character, the compassion and the charisma of Christ. God’s goal in the redemption as evident in the Epistles of Paul the Apostle is to reproduce sons and daughters after the order of Christ. Christianity is the expression of the Life of God, the Love of God and the Power of God through someone. It is the revelation of the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit through a person. See Galatians 1:15-16.

Becoming a Christian is more than the acceptance of certain creeds or beliefs. It is the actual rebirth of the human spirit. Jesus Christ our Lord called the experience “Being born again.” The Apostle Peter reiterated the same words. See John 3:1-7; 1 Peter 1:23; James :18.

To be born again is to be born of God. At the New Birth, the Life and Nature is imparted to your spirit. The New Creation is a new order of being like Christ. He is a child of God having the same quality of Life that the Father God has. Hallelujah! See John 1:12-13; 6:47; 3:16-17; 3:36; 2 Peter 1:4; 1 John 4:16-17.

The Christian experience has been played down with the use of words like “he has joined the church” or “he has accepted to become a Christian.” etc. When a man confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and receives Him as His Personal Savior, He becomes a new person entirely different from whom he used to be. He is a New Creation full of the Divine Life. See 1 John 5:10-13; 5:20; Titus 1:1-3; 2 Timothy 1:10.

Christianity is also a Divine union. God infuses His Life and Nature into us. The Christian is one with God, Yes, one with the Father, one with the Son and one with the Holy Spirit. Whenever you show up, all that God is and all that God has is available because God is present in you 24/7 in the Person of the Holy Spirit. See 1 Corinthians 6:17; Ephesians 3:14-19; 3:20; 1 John 4:4; Colossians 2:9-10 AMPC

You are no longer ordinary. You are more than a mere man. You are what someone called “the God kind of men.” You are new specie of being that never existed. You have the capacity and the sufficiency of Christ dwelling in you now. You are full of all the power you need, all the wisdom you need and all the ability you will ever need because God lives in you. Selah. See 1 Peter 2:9; Philippians 4:13 AMPC; Colossians 1:27-29; 1 Corinthians 1:30
