April Letter 6: Not Forgotten 2

Dearly Beloved,
Greetings of Grace, Mercy and Peace in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received the mandate to embrace, embody and exemplify the Vision, the Virtues and the Values seen in the life of Jesus and the Apostles.
I want us to discuss once again the truth about God’s unchanging faithfulness and His commitment to every promise He made to His people. The first thing I want you to remember that God is a God of timing. He is never late. He does whatever He does at the right time.
Every visionary leader or individual believing for something from God knows that sometimes it seems that what you are expecting seems unusually delayed but that is not true. With God your period of waiting is also a period of preparation, development and positioning.
If you look at the story of Jesus Christ, at age twelve, he thought it necessary to begin serving in the temple as a teacher doing His Heavenly Father’s business. But His Mother insisted that He should go home and be subject to them. In His waiting period, He increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and with men. See Luke 2:39-52; 4:14.
John the Baptist was someone else who also used his waiting time as a time of preparation, development and positioning. He waxed strong in the spirit and was in the deserts until the time of his showing unto Israel. God is the promoter. He announces you and publicizes you. He makes people like you. He opens the hearts of people to receive your message. He touches the hearts of people to follow you, help you and support you. See Luke 1:80; Psalm 75:6-7; 1 Samuel 10:26; 1 Chronicles 12:1-40.
Don’t quit on your dreams because it seems delayed. Don’t quit on God because the provision for your vision seems out of reach. Don’t walk away from your dreams because of the enemy’s incessant attacks, the pressures of life and criticisms of those who mock and despise you. The vision is yet for an appointed time. See Habakkuk 2:1-3; Hebrews 6:11-18; 10:32-38
Wait for the manifestation of the promises and the prophecies. Though the vision tarries, it will surely come to pass. It will not tarry. God cannot deny Himself. What He said, He will do. What He promised, He will bring to pass. Hang in there. Keep working. Persevere. Press on. Keep on pressing on. The vision will surely happen in Jesus Name, Amen.
