Home Are Righteous.

Are Righteous.

Are Righteous.

“And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:6

Do you know that when you put your faith in Jesus Christ, God declares you righteous? That is what we see in our opening scripture concerning Abraham, he believed in the Lord and his faith was counted as righteousness. Hence, as a Christian you must know that you are righteous.

There are Christians who do not know that they became righteous the day they got born again, so they are trying to become righteous in the sight of God by keeping the law.

Romans 3:19 (NKJV) reveals to us the purpose of the Law. “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” The purpose of the Law is to make the whole world guilty before God.

The Bible says, “Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Romans 3:20 (NKJV).

Notice that according to the scriptures, no flesh will be justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. Yet there are many people today who are trying to become righteous in the sight of God by keeping the law, but according to the scriptures you are made righteous by faith in Jesus Christ.

Instruction.
If you will like to receive righteousness by faith I will encourage you to pray the prayer below: O God, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe He is the Son of God. I believe He died for my sins. I believe that God raised Him from the dead on the third day for my justification. With my mouth I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I take Him as my personal Saviour. By my faith in the blood of Jesus, I believe, I receive, the washing away of all my sins. By my faith in the Name of Jesus, I believe, I receive, eternal life into my spirit. Jesus, come into my heart, make me a new person. I repent of my sins and I turn away from them. I declare by my faith in Jesus Christ that I am the righteous. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I believe I am born again. I am a child of God. Amen.
