“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
According to our opening scripture today, whenever you do what God tells you to do, Jesus says you are wise. When you do what your flesh or men tell you to do as opposed to what God has told you to do, Jesus said you are foolish. Always remember that every time you violate divine instruction, you are being foolish.
Rebellion is the conscious or unconscious rejection of divine instruction. Notice that rebellion could be conscious or unconscious. The example of Saul we looked at in the previous days was a conscious rebellion of divine instruction and the Prophet Samuel said to him, “Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.” 1 Samuel 13:13.
Dear Father, I ask that You expose every seed of falsehood that has entered into my belief system, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Doing the Word
Do not allow anyone to force you to rebel against divine instruction.
