Born Of God 1.

Born Of God 1.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
John 1:12-13.

Secondly if you are a believer, according to our opening scripture, you are born of God. That is who you are. Are you aware that you are born of God? Now remember the saying, “Like father like son.” This is because a father’s DNA will be in his son. Therefore, if you are born of God, God’s DNA is inside of you.

The Bible says in our opening scripture that anyone who has received Jesus is not born of blood; this is because your natural heritage comes through the bloodline. Neither is he born of the will of the flesh; in other words you are not born out of sexual gratification.

You are not also born because of the will of man; you are not born because someone wanted to have a child. If you have received Jesus, you are born of God.

Therefore God is saying to you today, stop looking at yourself based on your bloodline. Don’t see yourself or judge yourself as someone who was born because two people slept together. Don’t also judge yourself as someone who came because your father or mother said that they wanted to have a child.

Neither should you feel you are a mistake because your father said he wanted to have four children and then you came and became the fifth child. You were not born by the will of man, you are born of God. That should be your confidence and assurance concerning your identity.
