Born of the Word 2.
“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.” Luke 8:11
There is a natural seed and there is a spiritual seed. The spiritual seed is the Word of God.
The natural seed produces natural life. For instance, I was first born from a natural seed from my father in the flesh. That seed is called sperm. But in the spirit God’s seed is His Word.
Therefore when you believe the Word of God you become born again. The Word of God you believed reacts with your spirit and you are born again.
With this understanding I will like us to look at John 3:5-6, “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
Your father’s seed gave birth to a natural body, but being born again is the rebirth of your human spirit. You still have your old body and your old memory but your spirit is born of God.
Therefore you have to renew your mind to your new nature so that your new nature; which is the nature of God can dominate you.
In the Name of Jesus, by faith in the Word of God, I believe that Jesus died for my sins, was buried for me and was raised on the third day for my justification. Today I confess with my mouth by my faith in the Word of God that I am born of God. I am born of the Word. I am born again. I am a son of God. Praise God.
