Choose The Blessing.
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:28
Our opening scripture reveals that to Bless is to empower by speaking.
In other words, you can see from our opening scripture that when the Blessing comes you are empowered to be, do or have what you were born to be, do or have.
When you study the Bible, you will discover that man disobeyed God and ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and brought a curse on himself. As a result, the ground became cursed. (See Genesis 3:17)
If you are going to understand the Bible, you have to understand the principle of Blessing and cursing. There are people who are living under a Blessing but there are people who are living under a curse.
The Bible says, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am Blessed. I am empowered to be, do or have all that God has ordained for me to be, do or have. I choose life, therefore I and my seed shall live. The Lord is my life and the length of my days, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
