Confidence In God’s Ability

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”
Romans 4:20-21.

Faith is being fully persuaded of God’s ability to fulfill His promise or perform His Word. So when you are in faith you are too sure that God has enough power to do what He promised. One way you know you are in faith is when you are always full of gratitude. In our opening scripture, we see that Abraham was strong in faith giving glory to God. This reveals that he was full of gratitude.

Faith never complains. Are you always complaining? Complaining is unbelief. When you are expecting something from God, be full of faith and gratitude.

You know you have faith when you have confidence in God’s power or ability to fulfill His promise. For instance, if your friend who lives in a one bedroom apartment promises to give you twenty billion tomorrow, you will not have confidence in him to fulfill his promise. But if Bill Gates saw you and promises to give you twenty billion tomorrow, you are confident he is able to do it because he has the capacity to do so.

Therefore when you have faith, you are confident in God’s capacity to deliver. Faith is counting done what God has said.

In the Name of Jesus, I believe that God is able to make all grace; every favour and all earthly Blessing abound towards me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
