“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
Faith is confident expectation based on God’s Word. When you have faith, your confidence will be based on what the Word of God has said. This is because you cannot have faith without the Word of God.
Therefore, since faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, when you find it in the Word of God, it should become your expectation with confidence because you know that God cannot lie.
No Word, no faith. So if you are just acting confidently without the Word of God, then you are not in faith, you are in presumption. When you are in faith, there is a certainty and a knowing concerning what you have believed.
Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
So whenever you want to build your faith on any area, get into the Word of God to know what the Word of God says concerning that area; and confidently expect it to come to pass in your life.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” I declare that every good Word that God has spoken concerning me this year is coming to pass in their season, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
