Dance 1

“Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.”
2 Samuel 6:14 (NKJV)

There is something about dancing before the Lord. There are many things the Lord wants to do for you but you have not humbled yourself in his presence to dance before Him.

For some persons when they are in a service and praises are being sung to the Lord, they do not dance; they show no expressions of excitement and praise.

Do not be too big to dance in the presence of God.

As long as you can dance in ceremonies, then it is of necessity for you to dance in the presence of the Lord.

The Bible tells us in our opening scripture that David danced with all his might before the Lord and he was the king of Israel. He was not too big to dance before the Lord.

A man of God asked a great minister of the gospel in our country, “How did you get all these people to come into your service?”

He replied, “I danced everyone in here.”

This means dancing before the Lord with all your heart can lead to increase and productivity.

I encourage you to find time to dance before the Lord today with all your heart and the Lord will visit you with blessings.

Take out time today to dance before the Lord today.

Psalm 30:11-12 (KJV)

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that [my] glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Psalm 149:1-3 (KJV)

Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, [and] his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Psalm 150:1-6 (KJV)
Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
