“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.”
Today, I will still like to share with you some other practical examples that can help you to decipher when God is speaking to you through the inward witness.
For instance, if you are consistently hearing the name of a particular country or city in your spirit, don’t trivialize it, pray and enquire from the Lord why the name of that country or city is always coming to your mind. When you pray that way, God will speak to you.
For some people, as God speaks to them, they may begin to remember that He had spoken to them earlier concerning that country or city. The Lord could also reveal to them that it is the right time for them to launch out and start what he told them to do in that country or city.
Also, there are Christians who have packed into the wrong house because of a lack of divine guidance and as a result they have not been able to make progress, they started having miscarriages, etc. Why? They do not understand how God guides.
If you want to know if you should rent a house, this is what you must pay attention to. When you entered the house, how did you feel in your spirit? Did you have joy in your spirit? Do not just be carried away by the beauty or facilities in the house. Follow your inward witness.
I encourage you to be sensitive to these workings of God’s Spirit in your life through the inward witness so that you can be properly guided at all times.
Dear Father, I ask that You grant me access today into mysteries and secrets that will help me understand spiritual realities revealed to me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
