Do you Know Who Jesus is?

Do you Know Who Jesus is?

Dearly Beloved,

Greetings of Grace, Mercy and Peace from God the Father, the initiator of our redemption, from Jesus Christ, the implementor of our redemption and from the Holy Spirit, the consummator of our redemption.

Christianity takes on a new meaning when an individual comes to know God personally, intimately and practically. It is our knowledge of God that defines and the determines the quality of our lives as believers. Let’s examine some Scriptures:

John 17:3
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Christianity is not a religion of dos and don’ts but a vital relationship with God as Father that produces a transformation of our character. A man or woman may keep all the rules and regulations listed in the law and not be born again, that is, he or she has no personal relationship with God as Father through Jesus Christ. That’s what religion is.

Religion is the worship of God without a relationship. It is the worship of God without intimacy and revelation. Christianity begins the day a man or woman receives Christ as His Lord and Personal Saviour and confesses that truth with His mouth. See Romans 10:9-10; John 4:20-24.

2 Peter 1:2-3 KJV
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

The more you know God, the better your life gets. Knowing God through His Word is one of the single most important keys to transforming your whole life.

The more you know God, the more your faith grows exceedingly as you discover our powerful and generous He is. The more you know God, the more fearless you become as you discover how loving He is. Knowing God is the key to the storehouse of whatever you are believing for.

Daniel 11:32 KJV
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

The more we know God, the more we will be able to accomplish because our faith soars and our convictions get stronger. Our expectations are high because we know what He has made available for us, we know what He has done and we expect a Faithful God to fulfill His promises. Strong faith is rooted in a clear understanding of God’s character. You cannot understand God’s character without studying Him (The Word).

Hosea 4:6 KJV
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me:
seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,
I will also forget thy children.

Isaiah 5:13 KJV
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge:
and their honourable men are famished,
and their multitude dried up with thirst.

2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Satan’s greatest weapon against the Church is ignorance. The ignorance or lack of knowledge of God’s Word makes people more vulnerable to deception and the distortion of truth. It is time to get to know God for yourself and by yourself. The best way to know God is through His word. Jesus said, “He that has seen Me has seen the Father.” Jesus is the physical, visible embodiment of all that the Father is.

To know God, get to know Jesus Christ through the Gospels. Everything that Jesus said and did was the will of God in action. See John 5:19-20; 5:30; 6:38; 8:29. I am going to challenge you to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John within a thirty day period at least once and experience an unforgettable adventure with God In bodily form. See Colossians 1:19.
