Don’t Live In Sin
“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years. And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strongholds. And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them; And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.” Judges 6:1-4.
One of the things that can hinder you from enjoying God’s best in your life if you are a Christian is living in sin. David said before he was afflicted, he went astray. (See Psalm 119:67). This means that affliction comes into our lives when we stray from the Word of God.
When you willfully live a life of sin as a Christian, you open the door for the devil to whip you. That was what happened to the children of Israel in our opening scripture.
Therefore I encourage you to judge yourself today so that you will not be judged neither should you give any place to the devil to wreak havoc in your life and make a ship wreck of your faith.
Confess your sins and turn away from any wrong doing so that you will not be hindered.
