Home Glorify God.

Glorify God.

Glorify God.

“I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.” John 17:4 (NKJV)

Our opening scripture reveals that when I finish God’s work which He has called me to do, I glorify Him. The New International Version (NIV) puts our opening scripture this way, “I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.”

Every time you do what God told you to do, you bring glory to Him and every time you do not do what God told you to do, you dishonor Him, which means you are bringing glory to someone else or something else.

The Message Bible puts our opening scripture this way, “I glorified you on earth by completing down to the last detail what you assigned me to do.” That is the way I live my life, I only want to do what God wants me to do.

Living for God’s purpose is what matters to me because I live conscious of the Day of Judgment.

When I stand before God, I want to hear Him say, ‘well done’. That is what I am living for. What about you?

I encourage you to commit to living for God’s purpose for your life.
