God Has A Soul 1
“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38
God is a Spirit but He also has a soul. This is because you are not a person unless you have a soul. The soul is the seat of your personality.
The soul contains three things; the mind, the will and the emotions. Does God have emotions? Yes He does, because the Bible reveals that God loves (See John 3:16).
Ephesians 4:29-30 says, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Notice the Bible says, “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God …” This means that God has emotions, because you can only grieve when you have emotions.
John 3:36 (CEV) says, “Everyone who has faith in the Son has eternal life. But no one who rejects him will ever share in that life, and God will be angry with them forever.” This reveals that God gets angry.
Psalm 2:4 (CEV) says, “In heaven the Lord laughs as he sits on his throne …”. This also reveals that God has emotions.
Dear Father, I ask that You will cause my love to abound more and more in knowledge and in all judgment that I may approve things that are excellent and remain sincere and without offence till the day of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Doing the Word.
As you seek to please God I encourage you to practice Ephesians 4:29-30, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
