Joined To The Lord
“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” 1 Corinthians 6:17
At the new birth, you became joined to the Lord according to our opening scripture.
2 Corinthians 3:17 says, “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
Being joined to the Spirit of God means that you have become one with God now. You are in God and God is in you. It is called the intermingling.
The word ‘one’ in our opening scripture is the same word that is being interpreted as ‘one flesh’; this refers to two people who have become indivisibly one. In other words, whenever I show up, God has shown up in that environment.
Galatians 3:26-28 says, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Ephesians 5:30 says, “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.”
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am a child of God by my faith in Christ Jesus. I have been baptized into Christ therefore I have put on Christ. I am in God and God is in me. I am a member of His Body, of His flesh and of His bones, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Romans 6:3-4 (NKJV)
Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 13:14 (NKJV)
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
1 Corinthians 6:15 (NKJV)
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!
