Know your Identity 3

“There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: …” Joshua 1:5

God is saying in our opening scripture that no man will be able to stop you all the days of your life. This means that you are unstoppable. Even in old age you will still be unstoppable. This is why Caleb even in old age wanted to take down a mountain.

When you understand who you are and whose you are, you will realize that circumstances of life are only designed for a testimony. Say out loud, “I cannot be disadvantaged.”

God said, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: …” That is a blank cheque. That means anyone who comes against you has come to be defeated. Notice that God did not specify the class of men or their race. This means so long as they are human beings no matter how much they have, if they come against you they come at their own expense because at the end of the day they may not survive it.

Remember that whatsoever is born of God conquers the world. No matter what the world brings against you, you will win. That is the attitude of the child of God.

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” The Amplified version puts it this way, “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I cannot be disadvantaged because I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me. I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me. I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. Amen.
