Life As God Has It.
“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)” 1 John 1:1-2
Who is the Apostle John referring to as Life in our opening scripture? Jesus. This reveals that Jesus is an embodiment of what eternal life will do in a human person.
When you see me, I have one head, two hands and two legs. My son has the same physical characteristics. My son also has my blood group.
Therefore when Christ comes into you, the very life of God that makes Him God moves into you.
John 5:24 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I have eternal life because of my faith in Jesus Christ. I have passed from death to life. Nothing dies around me. I live life abundantly to the full, till it overflows, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
