Greetings of Grace, Mercy and Peace in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith amongst all nations.
We are on a journey together throughout this month on a study of God’s Word that should help each reader grow in their walk with God. I passionately desire to see God’s people to know God personally. Intimately and practically.
I know from experience that everything boils down to knowing God. This is why Paul the Apostle prayed that, “The God of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Father of glory may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” See Ephesians 1:17-19.
When we know God personally and intimately, our lives take on a new meaning. The Bible says, “The eyes of our understanding will be enlightened.” Knowing God increases your capacity for spiritual understanding. If you want to experience uncommon wisdom and inexplicable intelligence, then press into to know God through His Word. See Colossians 1:9-11.
Knowing God through His Word and the Power of the Holy Spirit gives you a sense of purpose and destiny. You will know the hope of His calling. Knowing God gives you a sense of meaning and hope. When you know Him you will realize that you will become more hopeful and your future will be secure. See Jeremiah 29:11-13.
As we get into the Word to know Him we begin to discover the good things that God has laid up for us. God has prepared everything you will ever need. You are not disadvantaged no matter what you are going through. All you need is a discovery of what God has preplanned for you. See Ephesians 1:3-4; 1:17-19; 1 Corinthians 2:9-12; 2 Peter 1:2-4.
Knowing God also empowers us. Knowledge emboldens. Knowing God will make you strong spiritually. Your spiritual strength is tied to the depth of your knowledge. Knowledge is a defense. Knowledge is also a story changer. Determine to diligently study the Word to know Him. Spend quality time in prayer speaking with other tongues to receive downloads of insight, wisdom and knowledge. See Proverbs 24:5; 24:20; Isaiah 5:13; Hosea 4:6; Acts 20:32; Philippians 1:9-11; 2 Timothy 2:24-26; Daniel 11:32.
