March Letter XXVI: Hope
Grace, Mercy and Peace be multiplied unto you from God the Father who begotten us to a lively hope, from Jesus Christ who is the anchor of our hope and the Holy Spirit by whose workings and power we are filled endless hope.
Hope is a priceless commodity in the journey of life. Hope is the earnest anticipation of good. It is the joyful expectation of a favorable outcome. Hope is positive expectancy. Hope is the confident expectation of a desired or desirable outcome.
Satan has worked tirelessly throughout this period to make men hopeless by the incessant attacks of hell, the unpredictable nature of the economies of nations and the weaponized or organized use of fear to intimidate, manipulate and control humanity.
As believers we are not like the ordinary peoples of this world who are without hope and have no covenant with God. We are Covenant people who have a connection with an Unlimited God whose power and powers transcends all forms of human limitations or problems. Because of our knowledge of God’s Omnipotence and His willingness to use His Power for our benefit we have unshakable hope.
Ephesians 2:11-13 NKJV
Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
The man in Christ is never hopeless because his covenant with God gives him access to all that God has and all that God is. This means that whenever we are faced with challenges, we can be rest assured that the Greater One makes all His abilities and powers available to us. The day you got born again defeat ended. You are more than a match for everything that comes your way. See Colossians 1:27-29; Philippians 2:13; 4:13 AMPC; Ephesians 3:20-21; Philippians 4:19.
Everything that comes against you is coming against God because you are in covenant Union with God Himself. You will never face a challenge alone anymore. You are more than a conqueror because God has committed Himself to you. That’s why the Bible says, “if God be for us who can be against us?” See Romans 8:31-32; 1 Corinthians 6:17; Romans 8:37-39; 1 John 4:16-18.
God is for you. Grace is God’s willingness to use His Power for our benefit. God is not withholding anything from you. He cannot because of that covenant made through Jesus Christ. God’s thoughts towards you are thoughts of good and not of evil but to give you an expected end. See 1 Corinthians 3:21-23; Jeremiah 29:11; Psalm 34:9-10; 84:11.
No matter what comes against us, it will end in our favor because God is working all things for our good. Hallelujah! Expect a favorable outcome, no what comes your way because God never loses. Declare it and speak it boldly and God will confirm it. Hallelujah!!!
