Monday Letter from Apostle

Dearly Beloved,
Love Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received the mandate to embrace, embody and exemplify the Vision, the Virtues and the Values of Jesus and the Apostles in our generation.
It behooves us an apostolic commission and an end time generation to embrace, embody and exemplify the ministry of prayer as demonstrated by the early church. Jesus Christ said His house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.
Acts 16:4-5 KJV
And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem. And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
Acts 2:42 KJV
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
As the Body of Christ we are all Priests. One of the ministry of Priests is to make intercession for the people. It’s part of our calling to pray for our nations. This is because without prayer the work and influence of God’s Spirit will be hampered in any country. God works in partnership with us through prayer. If there’s anytime to pray for our country, it is now.
Jeremiah 29:7 KJV
And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
The measure of peace enjoyed in any nation is the direct result of the prayer life and ministry of the Body of Christ in that nation as seen in the Scriptures. It was John Wesley that said, “It seems that God will do nothing until men pray.” The activities of the Spirit of God in the earth is dependent on the prayer of the saints.
Zechariah 10:1 KJV
Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain;
so the Lord shall make bright clouds,
and give them showers of rain,
to every one grass in the field.
From the Scripture above, we can see that the Lord will make bright clouds after we have prayed. That is a partnership. Through prayer we collaborate with God for the furtherance of His plans and purposes and facilitate the advancement of the kingdom. I wonder how many things God would have done if there were people who will give themselves to pray for the nation. I believe that God’s plan in this country has been hindered in many ways for a lack of praying saints and praying Churches.
1 Corinthians 16:9 KJV
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
1 Thessalonians 2:18 KJV
Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
Ezekiel 22:30 KJV
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Isaiah 59:16 KJV
And he saw that there was no man,
and wondered that there was no intercessor:
therefore his arm brought salvation unto him;
and his righteousness, it sustained him.
Luke 18:1 KJV
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
1 Timothy 2:8 KJV
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
We are called to pray individually and corporately. God is seeking for those who will pray for the nation. Prayer is inviting God to intervene in the affairs of men. Without prayer the activities of God and His angels will be minimized. However, through prayer the activities of devils and demons will be minimized, eliminated or canceled, while the work of God and the ministry of His angels will be released and amplified.
It’s time to pray to see God work mightily in our nation. God is counting on us. The next generation is dependent on our prayer thrust. The nation needs our fervent, passionate and consistent prayers. Please take your place in prayer for the nation. May the Spirit of grace and supplications rest upon you to inspire you to pray like never for our country. Selah
In His Majesty’s Service,
P. S.
I encourage you to be a part of the prayer meetings throughout this week from Monday through Friday at 6:00am daily. I am expecting to see you.
Have a fruitful and fulfilling week characterized by the abundant free flowing favors of God in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
