Protect Your Spirit 1

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

Learn to cultivate your spirit. This is because what food is to the physical body, the Word of God is to the human spirit.

It is your spirit that sustains your physical body, so if you starve your spirit you will become more susceptible to all forms of weaknesses including sickness and disease.

It is your spirit that helps you live right but when your spirit is weak because you are not feeding on the Word of God, you will become vulnerable to temptation.

Do you know sleeping in prayer and when listening to the Word of God is a manifestation of a weak spirit? This is why you must culture your spirit.

For instance, there are some programs I do not watch because I am protecting my spirit so that I can pick things quickly from the spirit.

There are Christians whose spirit have become dull. They are so vulnerable to the point they are not able to discern when they are being deceived because they haven’t cultivated their spirit.

I encourage you to spend more time in the Word of God and protect your spirit from movies and all forms of occult programming.

Dear Father, in the Name of Jesus, I declare by faith that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I am born again. The life of God is in my spirit. From today, I will cultivate, nurture, grow and cleanse my inward man by the Word of God and by the help of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
