Remembering the Persecuted

Dearly Beloved,
Greetings of Grace, Mercy and Peace in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have been adopted as members of the family of God and can now be called sons and daughters of God. See John 1:12-13; 1 John 3:1-2; 2 Corinthians 6:18.
As people everywhere celebrate Valentine’s Day, giving and exchanging gifts as expressions of love for another; I am writing this message to every believer anywhere in the world that has access to freedom of worship and freedom of speech to remind them to be mindful of other Christians (our brothers and sisters in Christ) in other nations that are suffering persecution in many parts of the world. Some have been killed, maimed and displaced because of their faith. Please pray for them and be mindful of them because if one part of the Body suffers we all suffer. See 1 Corinthians 12:12-26. True love is the unconditional commitment to the wellbeing of another. Love is not passive. It is the active demonstration of concern for the total wellbeing of another. See 1 John 3:18.
Hebrews 13:3 ESV
Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.
Please pray for their preservation and their protection. Praying and supplicating on behalf of others is an expression of love. Ask God to send His angels to deliver those in danger of being killed. Pray that those imprisoned for their faith will be strengthened and empowered to stand strong in the face of surmounting difficulties.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 KJV
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
Romans 15:30-32
Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints; That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
This is also to encourage those who are being persecuted for their faith. You are not alone in this world. Christ Himself is with you. God is nearer in the most painful seasons of life. May the Holy Spirit strengthen you and fortify you from within. May He embolden you to stand strong in your weakest moments and preserve your life so that more people can be reached within and beyond your sphere of influence by your testimonies.
Hebrews 10:34-36 KJV
For you had compassion on those in prison, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one. Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
My brethren, please do not give up on Him who has called us unto eternal salvation. Remember that the early church also suffered unjustly for their faith in Messiah. If we suffer with Him we shall also be glorified with Him. See Romans 8:18; 2 Corinthians 4:16-18; 1 Peter 2:19-214:12-16; 5:7-10; 2 Timothy 3:10-12.
Acts 14:22 KJV
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
I encourage believers everywhere to make out time to pray for saints all over the world who are suffering persecution in any form or fashion. May God give you a heart of compassion for His Church: The whole Church.
For the King and His Kingdom,
Preserving the Faith of the Fathers For Future Generations
