Rest In The Word.

Rest In The Word.

“Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.” Isaiah 28:16

Faith is confident rest in the faithfulness of God. When you are in faith, you are at rest. This is why our opening scripture says, “… he that believeth shall not make haste.”

When you are in faith, you are not irritated because of time because faith trumps time. Sarah had lived past the time to be able to give birth naturally, but by faith she not only conceived seed but she gave birth to her son Isaac naturally.

“Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.” Hebrews 11:11.

When you know God will do what He said, it should make you rest. So rest in the faithfulness of God. This is why I consistently look for promises in the scriptures concerning whatever I am believing for before I make my demands so I can rest on them. I encourage you to also do the same.

Humbly ask the Father to show you the promises you need in His Word to go to the next level.
