Righteousness By Faith.
“But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;” Romans 3:21-22 (NKJV)
Our opening scripture reveals that everyone who believes in Jesus Christ receives the righteousness of God. Therefore if you have believed in Jesus Christ, you have received the righteousness of God. Romans 9:30-32 (NKJV) says, “What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law.”
There are two forms of righteousness mentioned in the above scripture, the righteousness of faith and the righteousness of the Law. Israel did not attain to righteousness because they did not seek it by faith, but the Gentiles attained to righteousness through the righteousness of faith. This proves that you become righteous by faith in Jesus Christ.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am the righteousness of God by faith in Jesus Christ.
