See the End
“After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, …” Genesis 15:1-2
Vision is seeing the end from the beginning.
How do you see your life ending?
How do you see your ministry ending?
How do you see your church ending?
If you are minister of the gospel reading this devotional today, I want you to know that if you do not see that church growing, God will not add to it.
It all begins with vision. That is why David Yonggi Cho says that when he sees the congregation in his heart, he goes to pray with that picture in his heart until the church becomes what he saw inside of him. This means that vision is the mother of accomplishment.
If you don’t see it first in your heart you cannot do it. I encourage you to go to God and practice what you have learnt in this devotional so that you can enlarge your vision.
Our opening scripture shows us that one of the things that limited Abraham from having a child was because he could not see himself having a child. He saw himself going childless.
How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself fruitful and prosperous? If you don’t see it you will not see it come to pass.
Please read Ephesians 1:17-18, Revelation 3:18 and Genesis 21:19 and ask God to open your eyes to see the blessings and opportunities around you.
