Serve God From Your Heart.

Serve God From Your Heart.

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:6-7

Our opening scripture reveals that the part of me that got born again is my spirit. So if I am going to enjoy the Christian life then I must become spirit conscious and serve God with my spirit.

God does not accept what does not come from your spirit. When we say spirit, we are also referring to your heart.

Romans 2:28-29 says, “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”

I encourage you to serve God in the spirit from your heart. Whatever you do in your service to the Lord that does not come from your heart has no reward in heaven. Even your giving will not produce any harvest if it does not come from your heart.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 says, “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”

Dear Father, I ask that You expose every seed of falsehood that have entered into my belief system and stir up my heart to do Your will always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
