Faith For Your Vision

What is faith?Faith is the visible expression of confidence in God and His Word. See James 2:18,20,26
Faith is taking God at His Word. See Numbers 23:19; Romans 3:3-4; Luke 1:38,45.
Faith is acting on the Word. See Luke 5:5
Faith is confident rest in the faithfulness of God. See Hebrews 11:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:24 KJV; MSG
Faith is present confidence in God and His Word. See Hebrews 11:1
Faith is seeing life from the viewpoint of God’s Word. Faith seeing life from God’s perspective. See Romans 4:17; Genesis 17:4-8; Judges 6:11-16
Faith is a confidant attitude based on God’s Word. See 2 Corinthians 4:13; Hebrews 13:5-6
What is Vision?A vision is a revelation of God’s redemptive plan and your role in it. See Judges 6:11-16; Acts 26:16-19
A Vision is the image of a preferable future. It is a clear and compelling picture of the future that inspires people to cooperate or collaborate towards its fulfillment. See Proverbs 29:18; Acts 16:9-10; Genesis 11:1-6
How to develop faith for your vision:

  1. Clarity: Faith requires clarity. You vision must be clear and concise. You must be definite about what you want to achieve. See Habakkuk 2:2-4: Romans 4:17-18; Genesis 15:1-6
  2. Conviction: You have to believe in your own vision. The conviction of the leader becomes the inspiration of his followers. See Genesis 15:6; Romans 4:17-21; Habakkuk 2:4; Hebrews 11:11

What are the convictions you must have to see vision fulfilled?A. Believe that God cannot lie. See Numbers 23:19; Titus 1:2; 2 Timothy 2:13B. Believe that God is faithful. That is, He does what He says. See Hebrews 11:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:24; 1 Kings 8:56C. Believe that God has ordained your life to be a success story. See Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 14:24-27 MSG

  1. Confession: Speak what you believe. See Matthew 17:20; Mark 11:22-23. You will not see your vision fulfilled until you learn to boldly declare what you expect. Proclaim your aspirations. What you say is what you get. Proverbs 18:20-21; 13:2-3; Numbers 13:31-33; 14:1-10,28; Joshua 14:6-14; Luke 1:38; Mark 5:28 AMPC
  2. Community: A group of people of common interests or united beliefs. You need a community of faith friends. You cannot succeed alone. Ecclesiastes 4:9; Hebrews 3:12-13; Proverbs 27:17; 13:20. Your faith community should consist of the following: People who are above you who teach you, coach and correct you. Like Samuel to David or Zechariah to Uzziah. See 2 Chronicles 26:5. The essence of coaching is so that you can be more, do more and have more. People who stand beside you to encourage you and work with you. Believe that God will send you the right people to work with you. See 1 Samuel 10:26; 1 Chronicles 12:22,33-49,38
  3. Charisma: God will equip and empowe you to do what He has called you to do. There’s a grace to do what you are assigned to do. Grace is the divine empowerment for a God-given assignment. Grace is the ability to do effortlessly what is humanly impossible. Believe in the grace in you and on you. See 2 Timothy 1:8-9; Ephesians 3:7; 1 Corinthians 15:10
  4. Consistency. The fulfillment of any dream requires consistency. We have all learned in this ministry that success is a reward for consistency. Dreams are aborted or denied when there’s no consistent commitment to personal growth and development. You have to constantly invest in the development of your competence in incremental proportions.
