Partnering for Vision Fulfillment

Partnering for Vision Fulfillment:
We have three Primary Purposes for this series:
  1. The purpose of this message is to help you understand your role in God’s redemptive plan
  2. To inspire you to get actively involved in God’s redemptive plan
  3. To accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission
Text: Proverbs 29:18; Amos 3:3,7; Acts 16:9-10; 1 Chronicles 12:18,22-23; Ephesians 2:10 MSG
God does nothing on earth without the frontline active involvement of men. God has delegated authority on earth to men. See Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 115:16. So if God is going to do anything on earth He has to work with and through men. See 1 Corinthians 3:9; 2 Corinthians 5:20; 6:1.
It was John Wesley who said, “It seems as though God will do nothing until men pray.” The fulfillment of God’s dream requires both Divine and human collaboration. See Mark 16:20; Acts 14:3; 15:4; Hebrews 2:3-4.
In Acts 10, we see a partnership between God, angels and Peter. God’s work demands that we hear and do whatever God tells us to do because we all have a role to play to see God’s plan fulfilled. See Acts 8:26-40; 9:1-19; 10:1-48.
God moves through people. God heals through people. See Acts 4:29-33; 5:12-16; 19:11. God speaks through people. God works through people. Nothing will get done until we do something. See Romans 12:6-8; 1 Peter 4:10-11; Colossians 1:29; Philippians 2:13. God is counting on you. We are the Body of Christ. He expresses Himself on earth through us. See Acts 15:12 NKJV; Acts 21:19; Galatians 2:8
What is a Vision:
A Vision is a revelation of God’s redemptive plan of God’s redemptive plan and your role in it. See Proverbs 29:18; Amos 3:3,7 Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 16:9-10
A Vision is a God given dream or assignment that requires collective participation for its fulfillment. See Nehemiah 2:17-18;
A Vision is a Divine Revelation of God’s Plan to save humanity through the redemptive work of Christ and the opportunity to participate in its fulfillment. See 1 Timothy 4:10; Romans 10:1-18
Who is a Partner:
See Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NLT; Matthew 18:19; Philippians 1:27; Philemon 1:17; 2 John 1:11; 3 John 1:8 NLT
  1. A Co-laborer
  2. A Sharer or partaker
  3. A Contributor
  4. A Participant or participator
  5. An associate
Partnership is mutual cooperation between two or more persons for the purpose of kingdom goals and targets.
A Partnership is an alliance. It is an intentional collaboration between people for the purpose of fulfilling a clearly defined vision that is mutually beneficial to all involved.
It takes partnership to fulfill any God given Vision. In fact, the largest corporations in the earth are partnerships that blossomed into empires. The world understands the power of partnerships and intelligent networking for the purpose of maximum impact. We have to learn it as the Body of Christ. Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM). It takes teamwork to make the dream work. The more we are, the more we can do.
See Numbers 10:29-32; Philippians 1:3-7
How to Partner:
  1. Prayer. See Isaiah 45:11. The first call of the believer is to prayer. Through prayer we Partner with God to facilitate the advancement of His plans and purposes. See Matthew 6:9-10; 9:35-38; Acts 12:5-11; Romans 15:30-32; Philippians 1:19; 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2. There are wicked forces in the earth and we have to contend against them to minimize the effect and impact of their work in the earth amongst the sons of men. See Ephesians 6:12; Luke 12:21-23;
A. Pray for the Man of God See 2 Thessalonians 3:2; Romans 15:31; Acts 12:5-11
B. Pray for the brethren. See Ephesians 1:17-19; Colossians 1:9-11; Philippians 1:9-11; Colossians 4:12
C. Pray for the advancement of the work. See Matthew 9:38-38; 2 Thessalonians 3:1; Romans 15:30-31;
D. Pray for the unsaved. See Ezekiel 18:23; John 3:17; 1 Timothy 2:1-4; Acts 16:14
  1. Participation. This is refers to your physical involvement in the advancement of God’s work. This refers to:
A. Attendance or your physical presence in our meetings. See Luke 8:1; Acts 1:12-14; 1:15-26; 2 Timothy 2:2;
B. Physical efforts. See Romans 16:1-12; 2 Corinthians 8:23; Philippians 1:27; 2:22
C. Time: Acts 14:28; Hebrews 5:12
  1. Provision. By provision we refer to financial partnership. Financial involvement is the proof of heartfelt commitment. See 1 Kings 17:8-15; 2 Kings 4:8-17; Matthew 6:21; 6:33; Luke 8:1-3; Acts 16:14-15; 2 Corinthians 8:1-9; 11:7-9; Philippians 1:5-7 NLT; 4:10-19; Ezra 1:1-6 NLT; 3 John 5-8 NLT

‪Leadership: The Jesus Style

‪Leadership: The Jesus Style

The subject of leadership is one of the most studied subjects in the world because we know that everything rises and falls on leadership. Furthermore, we know that a man’s success in life and the measure of his influence will not be any greater than his leadership ability. This is what drives the intensive study of the topic of leadership

As a result of this, there are different views about what leadership is and what leadership is not. The best reference for the true meaning of leadership is exemplified by Jesus Christ our Lord and explained in the Scriptures because Jesus is the embodiment of truth while the Bible is truth captured in print.

Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (Jn 10:11) ‬

In July 2005, The Lord spoke the following words to me, He said, “You are UNQUALIFIED to lead a people you are unwilling to die for.” That’s a very big statement. God calls leaders “Shepherds” and the people He called “Sheep.” He called both secular and religious leaders shepherds. This puts leadership in an entirely different light. See Psalm 78:70-72 (NIV); Isaiah 56:9-12; Jeremiah 3:15-16; 23:1-6; Ezekiel 22:23-31; 34:1-31.

Leadership is not a position. It is taking responsibility for the wellbeing of others. It is a selfless and self sacrificing commitment to the wellbeing of a person or group of persons. Leadership is leveraging your abilities, influence and gifting for the improvement of the wellbeing of others. True Leadership is adding value. It is improving the lives of others.

This is the kind of leadership that Jesus modeled to us in the Bible. He said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” See Matthew 20:25-28 NLT.

It is obvious from the text above that leadership is a call to selfless, self giving service. True leadership is serving the purposes of God. It is serving the interests and priorities of the kingdom. It is being concerned about improving the wellbeing of others. This is the kind of leader that God wants us to be.

Leadership is not a position of authority but an opportunity to serve others. It is using your position and privileges to help people be more, do more and have more. A leader will leave you better than the way he finds you. See Acts 4:13; 20:17-31; 2 Timothy 3:14-17 MSG.

Paul the Apostle wrote the following words in his letter to Thessalonican Church:

1 Thessalonians 2:3-8 NLT
So you can see we were not preaching with any deceit or impure motives or trickery.
For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. Never once did we try to win you with flattery, as you well know. And God is our witness that we were not pretending to be your friends just to get your money! As for human praise, we have never sought it from you or anyone else.
As apostles of Christ we certainly had a right to make some demands of you, but instead we were like children among you. Or we were like a mother feeding and caring for her own children. We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.

From the above context we can see that Paul and his colleagues were not doing it for gain. They were in ministry to please God and to give their lives for the betterment of others. Nothing wins a man’s loyalty than his knowledge of your willingness to sacrifice yourself for his own wellbeing. When people become convinced of your selfless and self sacrificing commitment to their good they are inspired to commit themselves to follow you selflessly as well. See 2 Corinthians 4:1-2; 12:13-18.

People will obey those they fear. They admire those they respect. But they will live or die for someone they love. A true leader is a good shepherd. He loves the people he is called to serve even if they don’t love him back. See Philippians 1:8; 2 Corinthians 6:11-13 NLT. Consider Jesus. In spite of all the maltreatment He received from humanity, He still loved us and gave Himself for us. It was the knowledge of Christ’s love that inspired Paul to say that, “The life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.” See Galatians 2:20.

Again He wrote,
“For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NKJV

Love wins people. Love attracts people. As we begin to serve people out of genuine love for them, they will drawn to God. The power of God will flow out of us powerfully. Remember that most of the greatest miracles Christ wrought were done out of compassion; genuine concern for the wellbeing of others. See Matthew 14:14; 15:29-38; 20:30-34; Mark 1:40-42; 5:1-19; 8:1-9; Luke 7:11-17.

People crave love just like they crave oxygen. Anywhere they find genuine, selfless love they will stick. In Acts 11:24, the Bible records that the Church at Antioch grew because Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Ghost and of faith. It’s time to embrace the Jesus style of leadership. Serving through exemplary character, feeding the people the truth of God’s Word and praying for them continuously. Comforting the disheartened, strengthening the weak, rebuking the proud and the unruly, healing the sick, bringing deliverance to the oppressed at no charge whatsoever. Jesus said, “Freely you have received and freely give.”

Let’s help them find God and follow Him. Let’s help them become like Jesus in character, charisma and compassion Let’s help them find their purpose. Let’s equip and empower them to fulfill destiny. Let’s help them be more, do more and have more. That’s service. I mean that’s leadership. Shalom

Preserving the Faith of the Fathers For Future Generations

A Christian’s Assurance in the Face of Crisis Featured

Galatians 1:3-4 KJV
Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

2 Samuel 24:25 NKJV
And David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.

Christ Jesus has been offered on behalf of the Body of Christ. He has offered Himself without spot to God to cleanse us from our sins which delivers us from this present evil world. Christ’s death was the full payment for all our sins. This was the propitiation for our sins. God looks upon us in mercy and chooses to watch over us and protect us as His own. See 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

The Blood of Jesus Christ has established a New Covenant based upon better promises. The New Covenant is far better than the Old Testament. If God protected those in the ancient times under the Old Covenant, then most assuredly He will see to it that you are safe. See Matthew 11:11; Hebrews 7:22; 8:6.

Remember that God the Father loves you the way He loves Jesus. Think about it. God would willingly and joyfully do for you whatever He would have done for Jesus if He was here on earth. Why? Because as He is so are we in this world. You are the Body of Christ. See John 17:23; 1 John 4:16-18; 1 Corinthians 6:15-17; Colossians 1:24.

You are not an ordinary person. See 1 Peter 2:9; 1 Corinthians 6:1-3. You have a privileged place in God. Get it straight: You are special to God. He considers you a special envoy and an ambassador of the kingdom of God. You are entitled to the protection of angels. See 2 Corinthians 5:20.

Psalms 91:11-13 NKJV
For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Psalms 34:7 NKJV
The angel of the LORD encampeth
round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

God has assigned His angels to protect you and to preserve in these times. Fret not, God is faithful, He won’t let you down. He preserved Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. He plagued Pharaoh and his family because of Abraham and Sarah. He closed the wombs of everyone in Abimelech’s because of them too. You are the seed of Abraham. So you can be rest assured that God will preserve you and deal with all those who come against you. Selah

Let the following words comfort your heart:

Isaiah 41:10-13 KJV
Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded:
they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee:
they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Rest in the Lord. He will protect you, preserve you and cover you at all times from the evils of these last days. Not one of your hairs will perish. Trust God! He has been doing this for a very long time. Selah

How To Use Your Authority

Dearly Beloved,
Grace and Peace be multiplied unto you from God the Father and from Jesus Christ our Lord in whose Name we have been given authority over devils.

Love Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have an unqualified access the the Father and all the bounties of heaven. See Ephesians 1:3; Philippians 4:19.
Today I want us to look at the subject of authority. Authority in its simplest terms is “Delegated Power.” Authority is the legal right to use power. It is the right to command and enforce obedience. Authority is right, mastery, jurisdiction, capacity etc. See Luke 10:17-19.
Until a believer understands his or her authority in Christ he or she will not be able walk in victory and enjoy the quality of life that God has ordained for him or her.

We live in a wicked world. See 1 John 5:19; Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 2:18; 1 Corinthians 16:9. There are spiritual forces that seek to hinder your progress, delay your dreams and destroy you and yours. See John 10:10a. But God has an answer to all of these.
Firstly, we need to know that the blood of Jesus Christ and His vicarious death on the cross did not only fix the sin problem.
Hebrews 2:14-15 KJVForasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
The word destroy in this context means the following:

The Believer has tremendous Authority in Christ
  1. To render entirely idle or useless
  2. Abolish
  3. To do away
  4. To make of none effect
  5. To bring to nought
  6. Inoperative
  7. Inactivate
  8. To cause a person or thing to have no further efficiency
  9. To deprive of force, influence or power

This means that when Jesus died on the cross, He incapacitated the enemy. By virtue of Christ’s death on the cross, all of satan’s power over us is broken. The blood of Christ delegitimizes satan’s authority over us. His authority over us was due to the sin question. The Bible says, “The wages of sin is death.” This means the payment for sin is death. The death of Jesus Christ was the FULL payment for all our sins. See Hebrews 9:14-17; 9:26-28;10:5-13; Romans 4:25; 1 John 3:8; Colossians 2:13-15 ESV.

By reason of Christ’s death we are free people. Satan’s hold or control over us has become illegitimate. The price has been paid. We have been bought with a price. No matter the covenant that our ancestors had with satan or devils, by reason of the New Birth and the efficacy of the blood we are free people. The blood of Jesus has broken our ties with such allegiances. When we say the sinner’s prayer or accept Christ as our Lord and personal savior, we have broken any ties or link with those devils. We have pledged our allegiance to a new King: Jesus is His Name. He is our Lord.
Ignorance is the devil’s greatest weapon against the Church. He will bring up issues of your past against you in order to keep you condemned and under the whiplash of shame, guilt and condemnation. You need to know that God forgives completely and thoroughly. See Hebrews 8:12; 10:17; 1 John 1:9; 5:17.

This is the reason why the Lord sent us to preach repentance and remission of sins. See Luke 24:46; Acts 5:31; 13:38-39; John 3:16-17. When people become aware of the fact that Christ’s death makes satan’s hold over them illegal, they will resist and rebel against his oppressive rule over them. They will become bold to command and demand for their freedom and their liberties from all kinds of spiritual oppression. The blood of Jesus has set you free. The blood has cleansed you. Take a bold stance against the enemy in the authority of Jesus Christ’s Name. Demand your freedom. Christ has redeemed you from the curse. See Galatians 3:13-14; Ephesians 1:3-4.
Isaiah 49:24-25 KJVShall the prey be taken from the mighty,or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord,Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered:for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
To be continued….
