“I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 145:1-3
Praise is the heartfelt expression of adulation and honour to God for His greatness.
Our opening scripture shows us that our God is great. He is a big God and He should be praised in a big way.
Psalm 145:4-7 says, “One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, And I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, And shall sing of Your righteousness.”
When you testify of the things God has done in your life, you are praising Him. When God does something and you don’t testify, you are robbing Him of praise.
There are people who do not know that they are robbing God without knowing because they fail to testify.
There are those who try to excuse themselves from testifying because they are shy. No, you are not shy, you are proud.
This is because when you are shy you are self-conscious and when you are proud you are also self-conscious. So hidden in shyness is pride. Therefore I encourage you to testify today.

Psalm 44:1-2 (KJV)
We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, [what] work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. [How] thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; [how] thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
Psalm 145:8-13 (KJV)
The LORD [is] gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD [is] good to all: and his tender mercies [are] over all his works.
All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion [endureth] throughout all generations.
Isaiah 38:19 (KJV)
The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I [do] this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
