THE BLESSEDNESS OF TODAY
Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received the grace and the commission for the emancipation of the peoples of this world by the proclamation of the truth of God’s Word consistently, compassionately and competently.
It brings me great joy to bring you a timely message every morning to uplift, encourage and edify you. Today I want us to focus on the blessedness of today.
When you approach another day, there are certain things that you need to have in mind. Firstly, you need to know that the mercies of the Lord are new every morning.
Lamentations 3:21-23 KJV
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
God is so faithful that every morning His compassions do not fail. His mercies are renewed every morning. His Mercy prevents misfortune in our lives. Know that everyday you wake up, nothing will take your life because mercy and compassion are prevailing on your behalf in the morning in the Name of Jesus, Amen.
In Hebrew, the word is “Hesed,” which means mercy, kindness, loving kindness, goodness, favor etc. This means that there’s a daily dispensation of mercy, kindness, loving kindness, goodness and favor towards you. Hallelujah!!! Therefore, expect something good to happen to you everyday. Expect people to show you favor. Expect God to satisfy you with His goodness everyday. Say Amen! Something good is coming your way today.
Secondly, the Bible says, “This is the day which the Lord hath made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.” See Psalm 118:24. This day is a day prepared by God for you to enjoy His goodness. Goodness and mercy always follow you everyday of your life. So no matter what comes your way each day, remember that God in His mercy will make it turn out for your good.
Psalms 118:24-26 KJV
This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
Each day comes with its own blessings so learn to command and demand what you want that day. He says, “Send now prosperity.” Every morning declare what you want to receive from God. What you say is what you get in the kingdom. In fact everything in the kingdom is voice activated. See Mark 11:22-24; Isaiah 57:19; 43:26.
Lastly, let’s examine something that the Psalmist said:
Psalms 68:19 KJV
Blessed be the Lord,
who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah.
There are loads of benefits that our Merciful God and Father dispenses towards us each day. Without knowledge we won’t be able to access them.
Psalms 103:1-5 KJV
Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;
so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
God the Father wants us to be mindful of His benefits each day. They are clearly outlined in His Word:
There’s forgiveness for you today. No matter what you done, God is ready to forgive you today. See Psalm 86:5; Mark 2:5; 1 John 1:9. There’s forgiveness for you today. Don’t let condemnation Kill you. God is ready to forgive. Ask Him to forgive you.
There’s healing for you today. Everyday is a healing day. This is why Jesus healed everyday. God wants to heal you today. He is the Lord that heals you. See Exodus 15:26 NKJV, YLT, NLT. The Lord is healing you right now. The Lord loves to heal. See Matthew 8:16-17; 14:14; 15:29-31. Receive your healing today.
He redeems our lives from destruction. This means that today God will protect you from danger. Expect divine protection throughout this day. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. See Isaiah 54:14-17; 41:10-16; 49:24-26
He crowns your life with loving kindness and tender mercies. God will treat you affectionately. He will show you favor. He will pamper you today. See 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP), Psalm 23:6; Zephaniah 3:17
He satisfies your Mouth with good things. Our God is our provider. Jesus said we should pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” There’s daily provision for us from our Father. Receive yours. Speak into your day calling forth what you want in faith in your Father’s love. He cannot deny Himself.
He renews your youth like the eagles. Expect strength and vigor each day. See Job 33:25 (ESV) “Let his flesh become fresh with youth; let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.”
Job 33:23-25 KJV
If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter,
one among a thousand,
to shew unto man his uprightness:
Then he is gracious unto him, and saith,
Deliver him from going down to the pit:
I have found a ransom.
His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s:
he shall return to the days of his youth:
Until tomorrow May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the lift His countenance upon you and give you His Shalom Peace.
