The Natural Man

“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:”
Ephesians 2:11-12

There are three races on the earth. The first race is called the Gentile race. Whether you are black or white if you are not a Jew you are in the Gentile race.

The Gentile race refers to the natural man without a covenant with God. The Gentile, according to our opening scripture is the natural man having no hope and without God in the world.

1 Corinthians 2:14 says, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

If you are not born again and you are reading this devotional today, it means you are a Gentile man.

We were all Gentiles until we got born again, so if you will like to make Jesus your Lord and personal Saviour, I will like you to pray the prayer of salvation below:

Prayer of Salvation.
O God, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe He is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins. I believe that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead on the third day for my justification. With my mouth I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I take Him as my personal Saviour. By my faith in the blood of Jesus, I believe, I receive, the washing away of all my sins. By my faith in the Name of Jesus, I believe, I receive, eternal life into my spirit. Jesus, come into my heart, make me a new person. I repent of my sins and I turn away from them. I open my heart to the Holy Spirit, to flood my heart with the love of my Father God. I believe I am born again. I am a child of God. Amen.

Romans 5:9-10 (NKJV)

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Colossians 1:21-23 (NKJV)

And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight– if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Titus 3:3-7 (NKJV)
For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
