Prosperity with a Purpose
Everything God does He does according to a pattern in order to fulfill a purpose.
To the measure you know a purpose of a thing to that measure you will enjoy it.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 (NKJV)
For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense,
But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.
Money without wisdom is destructive.
If you approach money outside the Word of God,then you will have a perverse perspective meaning it will never be consistent with the Word of God.
1 Timothy 1:8-10 (NKJV)
But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is ]contrary to sound doctrine,
Prosperity based on compromise will cost your soul.
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
If you go for money after the Word of God there will be no curse.
The blessing is a force.
If an individual makes his or her focus of gaining wealth for the Gospel sake then God will prosper them.
So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions and in the age to come, eternal life.
You get a hundred fold return for anything you sow into the kingdom.
God is not against you having money, but He does not want you to make it your total focus.
But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
One reason why God people, is because of their commitment to forward the Gospel.
When you make funding the Gospel the main focus in your life then God will prosper you.
God be merciful to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us, Selah That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.
God will allocate resources to you based on how you prioritize the funding of the Gospel.
If your priority is wrong then the resources will be shortened.
1 Corinthians 22:5
Why God prospers you.
1. For His glory of God.
2. To demonstrate His goodness:
3. To establish His Covenant.
4. For the demonstration of His dominion through us. Money is power in the natural realm.
5. To reward our obedience and our service in the kingdom of God.
6. To amplify the voice of the Gospel and to find its spread. It takes money to spread the Gospel.
7. To fund the needs or causes of His Kingdom.
8. To meet your own needs.
Prosperity makes God attractive.
9. To meet the needs of your family members.
God blesses you so you should be able to provide for your own household.
God wants you as parents to be able to provide for your family.
Genesis 30:25-27 (NKJV)
And it came to pass, when Rachel had borne Joseph, that Jacob said to Laban, “Send me away, that I may go to my own place and to my country. Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, and let me go; for you know my service which I have done for you.” And Laban said to him, “Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake.”
You should pay attention to the decrease or increase when you give a particular task to a person.
Genesis 30:28-30 (NKJV)
Then he said, “Name me your wages, and I will give it.” So Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you and how your livestock has been with me. For what you had before I came was little, and it has increased to a great amount; the Lord has blessed you since my coming. And now, when shall I also provide for my own house?
God wants you to be able to provide for your family even during fermine.
Genesis 45:11 (NKJV)
There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine.
If resources are not flowing, then your priorities are wrong.
The need in the kingdom of God or your man of God is an opportunity for increases.
The way out of poverty is generosity.
The desires of good people lead straight to the best, but wicked ambition ends in angry frustration. The world of the generous gets larger and larger the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller. The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.
God is trusting you with the little in your hand first,to know if He can trust you with more.
1 Kings 17:14(KJV)
For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth
If you are giving, you are not affected by the natural environment, it is not dependent on circumstance.
Your supply is not tied to your environment.
When your priorities are right you are divided from the common suffering.
1 Kings 17:15(KJV)
So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.
If you want growth then you must plant a seed.
There is something in your hand that can make you rich, but you must find it first.
There is an idea you have that can change your status but you must first find and work on it.
