The Testimony Of The Apostle Paul 3.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” 2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT)
In continuation of the testimony of the Apostle Paul that the Bible is the Word of God, we see from our opening scripture that the Bible is inspired by God because it is useful to teach us what is true. The Bible corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right without prejudice and sentiments.
For instance, we know that the Bible was not written by children or from a child’s point of view because the Bible says, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” Ephesians 6:1-3.
Therefore if you are a child reading this devotional today and you believe that the Bible is the Word of God then practice what the Bible says so that it might be well with you and so that you may live long on the earth.
Please read Isaiah 54:13 and ask God to preserve our children from evil influences.
