Trust In The Lord 2

“The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.” Haggai 2:8

Our opening scripture shows us that God owns all the silver and gold, therefore if you have need of any material or financial provision God who owns them all can cause someone who is in possession of it at the moment to give it to you because He owns them all and can move the hearts of men to transfer such possessions to you.

I heard the story of a Christian man who was believing God for one million dollars to do something for his community, God moved an unbeliever to come to him and gave him one million dollars as he had believed for. God owns all the silver and gold, so even if it is in the hand of an unbeliever, he can stir their hearts to give it to you.

Oral Roberts told the story of how he hit someone’s car as he tried to park his car. He could have escaped without anyone knowing but he went and found the owner of the car and apologized for hitting his car. The man whose car he hit was an unbeliever, but he was amazed that Oral Roberts still came to find him to apologize when he could have escaped.

As they talked together, the man found out that Oral Roberts was a minister and he sensed he had a great future so he decided to get Oral Roberts a new car instead. He asked Oral Roberts to bring his old car the next day to collect a brand new car.

If Oral Roberts’ faith was in man, he could have ran away after hitting the man’s car considering that the man could have asked him to pay for the damage done to his car and he didn’t have the money. But he knew God saw him and knew he was the one who did it, so in the integrity of his heart he went to report himself and got himself a brand new car the next day.

I encourage you to put your faith and trust in God alone and you will start experiencing an endless flow of favour.

Please read Nehemiah 1:11 and Acts 7:10 and ask God to give you favour before influential people.
