Vision Is Trans-generational.
“Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob…”
God-given vision is trans-generational in nature. This means that a God-given A vision will outlive you. It will require the involvement of at least three generations.
As seen in our opening scripture, it is obvious that the Word that God gave to Abraham was confirmed in the life of Isaac and Jacob. God called Himself the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. They had a family vision. Does your family have a vision? It is important you have a vision from God for your family.
In Genesis 12:1-3 (NKJV) we see that the vision that God gave to Abraham was trans-generational. “Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
God could entrust His vision to Abraham because He knew that he would command his children after him according to Genesis 18:19 (NKJV), “For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”
Please read Isaiah 59:20-21 and ask for a generational anointing upon your family.
