Vision Requires The Input Of Others 1

“And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.”
Matthew 4:18-20 (NKJV)

A God-given vision will require the input of others. A God-given vision cannot be fulfilled by one person, it demands the involvement of a team of skilled individuals with different gifting.

When Jesus came as revealed in our opening scripture, He called Peter and Andrew as well as the other ten disciples to follow Him.

The Bible tells us in Matthew 9:35-38 (NKJV), “Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Therefore in Matthew 10:1 (NKJV) Jesus anointed His disciples to do what He was doing because no matter how anointed you are, you cannot do it alone. “And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.”
