What Is Rhema?

“… the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63

Yesterday, we learnt that a rhema word refers to a specific word, to a specific person at a specific time for a specific purpose.

Words in our opening scripture is referring to rhema. A rhema word is the spoken Word of God. It is the quickened Word of God from the whole body of truth.

Have you ever been reading your Bible and you saw a verse and it was as though God was speaking to you directly from that verse? That is a rhema word. Now when you get a rhema word, write it down and write the date because that Word will affect and influence your destiny.

In Luke 4:4 Jesus said, “… That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” This is because the rhema Word is life. The reason many Christians are weak is because they don’t receive rhema words from God.

A rhema Word quickens your spirit, it stirs your soul, it empowers you and it is your now Word. Your rhema Word is what God is saying to you now.

Dear Father, I thank You because Your Word has free course and is glorified in me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
