“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV).
Your self-perception or your self-portrait determines your performance. Your behavior is governed by your self-perception. Your attitude in life is determined by your self-portrait.
So if good things are coming your way, it is based on the way you see yourself. If wrong things are coming your way it is also based on the way you see yourself.
Until I change your self-perception I can’t change your performance, attitude and outcomes in life.
Our opening scripture says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” So your current reality and circumstances is a reflection of the content of your mind. Your mindset decides your outcome. It is so important as children of God we go into the Word of God to see how He sees us.
If you observe when God spoke to Moses He called Himself, “… I AM THAT I AM …” Exodus 3:14. This is because He knows who He is. Your authority flows out of your identity. When you know who you are it is easier to function in your authority.
I encourage you to accept your identity in the Word of God so that you can function confidently in your authority.
In the Name of Jesus, by my faith in the Word of God I declare that I am more than conquerors through Him that loved me.
