Your True Value
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” 1 Peter 2:9
There are people who base their self-perception on who gave birth to them. That means they are seeing themselves based on their natural ancestry. You ought not to see yourself from that perspective if you are born again.
It does not matter if you were born from a poor family. That does not determine your destiny as a born again child of God. So stop basing your life on your father’s job or his wealth. Those things are subject to change.
For instance, there are people who were born by rich parents, but before they grew up, their father became broke.
I encourage you not to judge yourself based on your personality, do not measure your worth by how you were born, where you were born or who gave birth to you. Base your worth on the price that was paid for you. Your true value is in the blood of Jesus. You are as valuable as Jesus is in God’s sight.
You know the value of a thing by what was paid for it. So your true value is Jesus because He was the price paid for you. I want you to begin to see yourself and carry yourself that way.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am not of this world, I am from above. The life of God is in me. Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. Amen.

James 1:18 (NKJV)
Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.
1 Peter 1:23 (NKJV)
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
1 John 5:1-4 (NKJV)
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world–our faith.
